After witnessing a weekend filled with Cup finals (21st May, 2016 through May 22nd, 2016) where my beloved Manchester United won a 12th FA Cup trophy at the expense of Crystal Palace in Wembley. One of the other teams I follow passionately, Juventus also nicked the Coppa Italia under the noses of A.C Milan to end the season as double winners (they also won the Serie A). Bayern Munich also beat Borrusia Dortmund on penalties to win the DFB Pokal Cup and ultimately hand Manager Pep Guardiola a nice farewell as he leaves the club to link up with Manchester City. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was able to sign out of the French Ligue 1 in style by winning the Coupe De France with Paris Saint Germaine (P.S.G) bagging a brace in the 4-2 win over Olympique Marseille. Barcelona rounded up their season beating Sevilla 2-0 to win the Copa Del Rey.
Now to the main event you all have been impatiently waiting for, the UEFA Champions League (UCL) final which holds in San Siro, Milan on Saturday the 28th of May, 2016. The game which is between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid is one match I am really looking forward to and it would have been great if I was in the stadium but I will pick watching it with my guys ahead of that though. Diego Simeone who’s the Manager of Atletico Madrid would be trying to lay hands on the trophy he lost to city rivals in a repeat of the the 2014 final which was played at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon , Portugal. Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm of affairs for Real Madrid on that night in Lisbon but Diego Simeone would be up against Zinedine Zidane who is a former Real player who took charge of the team when Rafa Benitez was sacked in January, 2016. Zidane has shown he is capable of handling the Real Madrid when his side pushed Barcelona till the final day of the season losing the La Liga title losing by a point and taking the team all the way to the UCL final.

I respected managers of both sides as footballers and I just cannot wait for the game to start even though I already have a side I would be rooting for on the night. This is the Champion League final and even though Atletico Madrid has had the better of Real in the last 3 seasons with 4 wins and two draws but within these past 3 seasons you will agree that Real Madrid stepped up when it mattered most and it was at the 2014 Champions League final. Real beat Atletico 4-1 to claim their 10th Champions League crown (La Decima). Barring any foul play this game would be and interesting one.
Players to watch out for
Atletico Madrid: Antoine Griezmann, Saul Niguez, Jan Oblak, Fernando Torres, Yannick Carassco, Koke and Diego Godin
Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo (if 100% fit), Luka Modric, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Casemiro, Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas
My Prediction
I am going to stick my head out for a Real Madrid win. It will not be easy and Simeone has worked too hard to get to the final beating perennial favourites Barcelona and Bayern Munich in quarter finals and semi-finals but I think Real Madrid has what it takes to nick this one. Real to win 2-1 and also predicting Ronaldo to score one of the goals for Real Madrid.
Thanks for your time guys. Remain BLESSED !!!
