My EPL Team of the Year

index 6Hi guys, the most exciting league (English Premiership) in World football came to wonderful climax on Sunday. Man City became champions for the second time in 3 seasons with Liverpool finishing two points behind them, Chelsea coming in third and Arsenal grabbing the final Champions League spot. Everton had a wonderful season finishing fifth and Tottenham Hotspurs grabbing the sixth position to ensure they join the Toffees (Everton) in the Europa league. The final Europa league slots will be handed to Sunderland for being runners up to Man City in the Capital One Cup and Hull City for making it to the FA Cup final. My beloved Man Utd was unfortunate not to make it to Europe. How do I feel? I was over the moon, what’s the point playing in the Europa league that will drain my boys of their strength and still end up not winning? I think we should focus on rebuilding the squad and maybe come back strong like Liverpool did this season.
Speaking of Liverpool, it’s next season they will know it’s not easy fighting on all fronts when they play in all competitions, unlike this concluded season where it was only domestic football they played all through. I doubt if they played up to 42 games in total this past season. We all know Luis Suarez was crowned Professional Football Association’s player of the year and Football Writer’s player of the year but for me the player of the year was “Yaya Toure” without a doubt. I will give him the award all day everyday and three times on Sunday. That dude is a monster, as in u can’t muscle him off the ball or dribble past him. In fact he hardly makes mistakes when he’s with the ball. Luis Suarez no doubt had a fine season, come on he’s top scorer and remember he didn’t play the first five games of the season and he still amassed 31 league goals equalling the records of the great Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo set in the past.
I saw the EPL team of the season but I don’t agree with it in entirety so I have decided to come up with mine though I don’t think there’s much of a difference.

There you have it. My English Premier League’s team of the season. Yea Tony Pulis is my own manager of the year because he led Crystal Palace to a remarkable 11th position when most of us thought they would be relegated. I picked my team based on the Fantasy League I played with my peeps. I wonder how I will cope before the World Cup starts. Anyway there’s still the title decider in Spain to look forward to, the Europa league final and wait for it………… The big one, the Champions League final coming up in Lisbon Portugal between Real Madrid (my favourites for the trophy) and Athletico Madrid (under dogs). Real Madrid are closing in on La Decima (10th Champions League Title) and I know this is their year after waiting 10years. We also have friendly games in preparation for the World Cup.
Thanks for your time……. stay BLESSED !!!
