I couldn’t help but laugh after we were awarded an undeserved penalty (which Van Persie converted). We didn’t deserve the 3 points and we also don’t deserve to be called a football club SMHISM (Shaking my head in slow motion). If this is how Man Utd wants to be getting their results, then as a fan I should be preparing for life in the Championship next season(I know some of y’all will say it’s better to win dirty than lose beautifully). Our performance so far this season has been appalling. My bro asked for my prediction before the game started and I said United would lose. Don’t get me wrong o, I am gonna be a United fan till I drop. This is football and we can’t win all, definitely not with the way we are playing. Oh yea, we didn’t concede against Galatasary and Wigan. Galatasary for one didn’t deserve to draw that game, let alone lose and for the Wigan game, we were still not convincing. Anti-Man U people, I have heard you, we are PDP. Find something new to say abeg.
Liverpool were the dominant side all through the match, even after Jonjo Shelvey was sent off for a bad challenge on Johny Evans, the numerical advantage United had didn’t deter the Scousers. They hustled the Man Utd side, and had more shots on target and obviously more of the ball. United’s 1st half performance is the worst I have seen in years. I doubt if we had any shot on target in the 1st half. I know we didn’t have a corner though. The earlier the Red Devils wake from their slumber, the better for them. There are no more small teams in the EPL again. The only positive I will take out of these Liverpool game was the quality of Rafael’s goal and Chicago Fire’s (Rio Ferdinand) performance. I will let Rio off the hook till December, no matter how much he costs us till then. We won 2-1 away from home. I am happy with the result, but I couldn’t stand the performance of my boys.
Arsenal in one word? Superb. Though Gervinho was horrible. How could he lose a one on one chance against Joe Hart? He just passed the ball to the Shitty goalie, when he could have taken a shot. The Gunners are still unbeaten. Are they trying to emulate the invicibles of 2004? Its a possibility(in the minds of arsenal fans),though, I have always said the best buy of the season was Steve Bould (Arsenal’s defence coach). Men even Jenkinson has been playing some great footie. I can see the Bould touch in the Gooners defence. They have conceded just 2 goals in the league and 3 in all competitions. Not bad o. Arsenal held Man Shitty to a 1-1 draw at the Ethihad stadium.
I didn’t get to see most of the games this weekend, infact I didn’t see any game on Saturday. Owambe things noni. My sis got married. I think the Chelsea game was a fair result, Everton dey para o. They beat Swansea 3 nil away from home. Southampton have finally decided to wake up. They dealt with one of my favourite teams (Aston Villa) in the EPL. Westbrom beat Reading 1 nil, Westham were held 1-1 at home by Sunderland, Fulham beat Wigan 2-1 away and Newcastle beat Norwich 1-0 at the Sports Direct Arena. Demba Ba with the only goal. Papis Cisse still yet to score this season. He couldn’t convert the spot kick handed to him. QPR let their 1 nil lead slip off their hands against Spurs, losing 2-1 at White Hart Lane.
Barca won 2 nil, I don’t care who they beat. Milan lost (laughing my head out), Juve won again (Yaaaaaayyyyy). Don’t know if Real Madrid still played last night though, but my own TV no show am.
Thanks for reading. Next gist would be explosive. Trust me. Have a fantastic week ahead……….. Bless.
