3 LIONS
Well those that know me know my number one football nation is the English National team also known as the Three Lions. I will also like to state that during the 2014 World Cup holding in Brazil from June I will also be closely monitoring the progress of the host nation (Brazil) and the Super Eagles of Nigeria. I want to share what I feel should be the team representing England at the World Cup and I should do same for Nigeria and Brazil in subsequent posts.
Find my list below:

Yea my team isn’t fantastic, yea Joe Hart has been calamitous, our defense isn’t tight, our midfield is filled with old and inexperienced players and our strike force is just manageable. We also lack wingers but not to worry Milner, Oxlade and Sterling can handle it with Gerard, Rooney and Sturridge helping out when the need arises. We would surprise y’all by winning the World Cup come July. I would have loved to include Jay Rodriquez in this squad but he might not make it due to injury. I should have put Andy Carroll in because of his frame and if you remember what he did against Sweden in Euro 2012 sure you wouldn’t argue, lol. What we are not hearing is that Theo Walcott might be going to the World Cup. Remember what happened when David Beckham damaged his metatarsal in the UCL game against Deportivo La Coruna prior to the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan. He was put in an Oxygen Tent for speedy recovery and it worked.Same was done to Wayne Rooney when he had same injury in a game against Chelsea weeks before the World Cup of 2006 hosted by Germany.
I believe Beckham’s injury was intentional because the man behind the tackle was an Argentine (Aldo Duscher) and England were scheduled to play Argentina in a group game at the 2002 World Cup. Anyway I hope Walcott can make it to the World Cup because he’s a very important member of the squad. Its sad Jack Wilshere and Jonjo Shelvey didn’t make this team for obvious reasons. I wish Morgan Schneiderlin was English, very fine player.
Watch out for my preferred Nigerian and Brazilian team. Thank you very much for your time and enjoy your weekend…… BLESS !!!
