I am still longing to attend a concert where D’banj would be the headliner. I am a big fan, I didn’t initially like him when he dropped the Tongolo single but upon listening to the No Long Thing album after which had Tongolo in it then I realized he was special. My favourite song off the No Long Thing album was Mobolowon. Mobolowon has been on repeat for me all week.
D’banj is unarguably the best Nigerian entertainer if you asked me, I ordinarily would have said King Sunny Ade but he can’t match D’banjs’ energy abeg. D’banjs’ Suddenly is my all-time favourite Nigerian song (song o) and I am most likely to dance (not that I can) when it is played at a gathering or party.
All D’banj songs are a hit to me. D’banj is a top guy. PERIOD!!!
