So I have been following the Classic FM artist battle and I have never put a foot wrong whenever I predicted who would win. The most recent and I think the 13th edition had Joe up against Usher. I was team Usher and I was expecting him to win by a wide margin at that.
Yeah Joe may have released more albums than Usher but Usher was just the man, I mean, ok I have nothing more but Usher was my guy. Ehen Usher has won Grammy(s) before and Joe hasn’t. Lame attempt? Lol. Anyway results came out this evening and it was Joe who won by landslide, if memory doesnt fail me Joe had 61% of the votes.
I believe why Usher lost was because people like me were over confident he would win and didn’t vote. Remember what happened to Lil Kesh at the 2016 Headies Awards? Where everyone thought he should have won next-rated or something ahead of Reekado Banks but nobody really voted for Kesh.
Anyway I still can’t believe Joe won.
