Football is back in full swing with the resumption of the sport across Europe’s top 5 leagues. Well except the French Ligue 1 which kicked off last week and the Italian Serie A which would be resuming on the 21st of August, 2021 the English Premier League (EPL), Spanish La Liga and German Bundesliga officially graces our screens from tomorrow night.
My game of the weekend has to be Tottenham Hotspur versus Manchester City at the Tottenham Stadium in London on Sunday by 4.30pm Nigerian time. Sentimentally it would have been the lunch time kick off between my beloved Manchester United and Leeds United on Saturday at Old Trafford. Again the plan for the season is to watch all Manchester United’s games.
The transfer window is still open, so when it closes I will share my predictions on how I think the top 4 of these leagues will pan out come end of the season in May 2022.
