The verzuz battle is a series where 2 musical acts or a duo/group are pitched against each blessing fans with their hits. Yes you are allowed to pick a side. I havent seen much as a matter of fact I saw just one before yesterday night. The one which had the late DMX up against Snoop Dogg was the only I had seen before then. I saw highlights of a few though.
The series was created by arguably two of the best music producers out there in Timbaland and Swizz Beatz and it has always been a hit. The battle I witnessed last night apparently happened about 8 days ago and it was between The LOX; the trio of Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles Pinero and Dipset which had Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Free Zekey and Jim Jones in its lineup.
It wasn’t a fair match up, to be honest as the LOX blew Dipset to smithereens. Jadakiss was the Star Player of the night and even if he didn’t turn up for the LOX, Sheek and Styles would have killed Dipset easy.
Jadakiss is the most underrated rapper and if you asked me he’s amongst the top 5 rappers alive. See it as it’s 2 minutes to the end of a diss battle and you are nearly down and out, Jadakiss is that star player that will come on and salvage the day.
