Day 187 of 365: Patrick Viera

Patrick Viera is one tough player I saw play, a big dominant figure and his best days were his time at Arsenal leading them to 49 games unbeaten (2004/5 season) in the English Premier League. He was also part of the French National Team that won the World Cup in 1998 and the Euros 2 years later. The Premier League fans will always make reference to his midfield battles with Manchester United’s Roy Keane.

I am a Manchester United fan and sentiments aside, Patrick Viera was one hell of a player. He is now into football management and before now he has had stints with New York City FC in the U.S (2016-2018) and Nice of France (2018 – 2020). He is now at the reins with Crystal Palace.

Is the Crystal Palace job the right one for the Arsenal legend? I don’t think so but I will be glad if he proves me wrong. All the best Viera.

CHEERS!!!
