I am not one to compare between the late Tupac Shakur and the late Notorious B.I.G (Biggie) because I liked both rappers but if I was to pick one with a gun to my head I think I still wouldn’t say one was better than the other. Earlier today, myself and two of my friends tried to put both rappers against each other in a verzuz battle and I picked Tupac while they obviously went for B.I.G.
A little bit of argument ensued as to who had bigger hits but on the face of it and if we are being honest, Tupac had more hits and this is because he dropped more albums than Biggie did. Biggie dropped 2 albums before he died in 1997 (Ready to Die and Life After Death) while Tupac released 4 studio albums (2pacalypse, Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z, Me Against the World and All Eyes on Me) before his death in 1996.
Take time out to critically evaluate their songs if you are a true hiphop head and you will see 2pac will beat Biggie in a verzuz battle.
