2018/19 Season: Top 4 Predictions

Do we ever run out of football? Yeah there can be weeks with no games to watch, but there is always a buzz of some sort all day everyday regarding the sport. If it is not transfers which used to be limited to the summer or the turn of the year but has now become a daily occurrence, it would be injuries or managers being sacked just to mention a few. There is always something to talk about or get informed on.

I am back with my top 4 Predictions within Europe’s top 5 League’s (England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany) series after a brief hiatus. While I am tilting towards Manchester City, Barcelona, P.S.G and Bayern Munich to retain the league crowns in England, Spain, France and Germany respectively, I expect Roma to slug it out with Juventus in the Italian Serie A for the Scudetto.

I love Juventus and I even love Cristiano Ronaldo (CR 7) more whom they recently acquired for about £105m (One Hundred and Five Million Pounds) which is a transfer record for a player over 30, but I doubt they would easily nick the Serie A title. The vacuum left behind by CR 7 at Real Madrid would also play a part in the Spanish Giants not being able to wrestle the La Liga title from Barcelona, add their appointment of an untested manager in Julen Lopetegui to the frame, Real might not even finish second but time will tell.

You know the drill, but let me spell it out again. I would be asking some of my friends for their own opinions on this.
