2018 was the year of super smash hits in Nigeria. If picking 17 great songs was difficult in 2017 then 2018 proved to be a harder task. What particularly stood out for me was the resurrection of Duncan Mighty’s career collaborating with the likes of Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Davido to give us bangers in the year under review.
As always I never expect people to agree with me on my (please note) list of best songs in the country this year. I have tried to pick from a pool of about 42 songs and it was hard to narrow them down to 18.
