My A-Z of the English Premier League Thus Far

A. Africans are lighting up the EPL big time (Riyald Mahrez, Odion Ighalo, Seydou Mane, Andrew Ayew, Yannick Bolasie)
B. Brendan Rogers was sacked in the 60th minute of the Merseyside Derby on the 4th of October, 2015
C. Chris Smalling aka Mike clearly has been the most improved defender in the league over the last 9  months and has surely done enough to make the team of the season come May, 2015
D. David De Gea is still a Man Utd player and he has not let the summer transfer speculation of leaving for Real Madrid affect his performance for the Red Devils
E. Eva Carneiro was dropped to the bench by Jose Mourinho. This was when Chelsea’s woes started
F. Fabregas gases out
G. Grealish dumped Ireland for England. The attacking midfielder who plys his trade with Aston Villa (UCL winners of 1982) chose to play for England ahead of Ireland in September, 2015
H. Home clearly has not been home for my darling Aston Villa
I. Inler Gokan goes from Napoli starting XI to Leicester City Bench, from playing in Europe to strictly domestic football
J. Jamie Vardy goes from playing for a non-league side (Fleetwood) 3 years ago to being Goleador (Top scorer) contender in the EPL
K. Kane finally found his scoring boots after a drab start to the season.
L. Leicester City move from relegation battle to title chasers thanks to Claudio ‘The Tinkerman’ Ranieri
M. Mourinho has gone from being the “Special One” to the “Happy One” and now steadily “Flogged One”
N. Non English players still dominate the league
O. Ozil, Ossit or whatever you want to call him has been the reason Arsenal sits pretty in the top four at the moment.
P. Payet will surely be missed by Westham. Hes out till the New Year
Q. Quitting was the best option for Dick Advocaat
R. Riyald Mahrez is one of the reasons Leicester City have a voice this season and why they would not be drawn into the relegation battle this season
S. Sam Allardyce gets the nod of steering Sunderland out of relegation troubles
T. Tickets for Euro 2016 already certain for Jamie Vardy, Ross Barkley, Joe Hart and Chris Smalling
U. Unpredictable
V. Van Gaal confronted by some of the players. I cannot even confront Van Gaal in my dreams (I would wake up to apologize) or virtually. The man scares me
W. Westham the big team beaters after having Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea for lunch and losing to teams below them on the table. A Robin Hood-esque kind of thing, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor
X. Xclude Chelsea from the title race. I guess that’s a no-brainer
Y. Yohan Cabaye and Yannick Bolasie: Crystal Palaces’ fulcrum
Z. Zero loss at home for both Man United and Tottenham Hotspurs and Zero loss away for Leicester City

  1. LVG will not only be confronted by both current players, ex players & fans but dead heroes and supporters who fought hard to make this club what it is. It will happen as warnings in his dream.
