I always say I am no movie buff but I have seen quite a few. Growing up, I always enjoyed watching movies with my big brothers and my cousins. Those that know me well know that I was a big fan of Home Alone particularly the sequel; Home Alone 2 (Lost in New York). I always looked forward to the Christmas period because it’s the perfect holiday flick and it always airs on cable. Shout out to Lizzy Josh though, she would always reach out whenever it was shown. The little things count.
Macaulay Culkin was the main character in Home Alone 1 & 2, I never saw the other instalments because he wasn’t in them. Home Alone was the first-ever movie of his I saw even though Uncle Buck with John Candy was released before it, I saw Home Alone first. It was however the movie My Girl that nearly brought me to tears. Macaulay Culkin played a role where his character was stung to death by bees when he was just beginning to fall in love with a girl he liked. I can’t remember the story anymore.
I sniffed and was going to drop tears when one of my brothers said Dips, it is just a SCRIPT. I was very young, what did I know.
