Kano Pillars is my favourite Nigerian football club and one that I follow, maybe not as religiously as I should but I try. When the new Nigerian Professional Football League resumes Kano Pillars wouldn’t be having my undivided attention as Enyimba will join the bill.
Enyimba has confirmed that former Super Eagles International, a legend of the game George Finidi will be taking charge of the team on a 2-year deal. This is Finidi’s first job as a football coach and I hope he has a wonderful time in charge.
I love Finidi and I will always credit Nigeria’s qualification for her first-ever Senior World Cup to him. His goal against Algeria in the 1:1 draw ensured the Eagles nicked a ticket to the U.S ’94 Mundial.
Finidi George is my 3rd all-time best Nigerian footballer behind Nwankwo Kanu and Rashidi Yekini.
CHEERS!!!
