Manchester United started their Champions League campaign on a disappointing note. They played against Swiss side Young Boys earlier today and bookmakers must have handed the tie to United before kickoff. If I say I didn’t expect United to win I’d be lying, even though I was slightly uncomfortable with the starting XI. I am still Team Ole though.
United scored first through Cristiano Ronaldo who has now scored 3 goals in 2 games. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off in the 35th minute and rightly so. With or without the red card the Red Devils were poor on the night. 2 second-half goals sealed the tie for Young Boys.
Man United are in a tight position, sitting bottom of Group F. Villareal and Atalanta are the other teams in the group and they ended their fixture in a 2:2 draw.
Hope the lads bounce back against West Ham at the weekend.
