Up until this day I had never seen a Bond movie starring Daniel Craig. The only movie I had seen him feature in was Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and I honestly didn’t feel him in the movie. As a matter of fact, I didn’t watch Road to Perdition because of him despite the movie featuring some characters I liked (Tom Hanks and Jude Law).
So tonight I was flipping through the channels because I didn’t want to watch the Cheltenham versus Manchester City game. We always knew how it would end, in case you didn’t know it was 3:1 in City’s favour despite Cheltenham scoring first and leading till the 81st minute. Again the tie was always going one way.
So nothing caught my fancy from Channel 203 back down to 103 and so as I was scrolling forward I just decided to stop on 111 and give Daniel Craig a chance to wow me. As I was watching, something kept pricking me to change the channel then one of my favourite actors ever Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter in the movie) popped up. There was no way I was changing this channel. Though he didn’t appear in too many scenes but he was the motivation for finishing the movie.

To be honest the movie was a very good one and I probably would try to watch Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre maybe the yet to be released No Time to Die. Not forgetting Road to Perdition.
The problem with Craig Daniel for me is that he seems a bit stiff and not half as sleek or smooth as James Bonds’ of years past. I mean Pierce Brosnan, Roger Moore, Sean Connery and even Timothy Dalton were by far for me miles ahead of Daniel Craig in terms of executing the Bond roles.
Tomorrow guys. Cheers!!!
