The French National team also known as Les Bleus are one of 3 teams I would be rooting for at the Euro 2020 football tournament which kicks off on the 11th of June, 2021 and ends July 11, 2021. The others are Portugal and the 3 Lions of England. France have won the tournament twice (1984 and 2000), ending up as runners up in 2016 losing 1:0 to Portugal on home soil.
France however won the 2018 World Cup in Russia beating Croatia 4:2 meaning they have played in back to back finals of major tournaments or let’s say the biggest tourneys players can represent their countries in. Les Bleus no doubt are one of the favourites to win the Euro 2020 and their coach Didier Deschamps who won it as a player in 2000 has a lot of superstars in his squad.
